The newly upgraded and updated Private Participation in Infrastructure (PPI) Project Database website provides information about 3,000 infrastructure projects that involve private investment, for 150 low- and middle- income countries. It spans the period 1984 to 2004, and covers projects in the energy, telecommunications, transport, and water and sewerage sectors.
Data from the database can be viewed as snapshots by sector, region, and country, or users can build their own reports using up to 30 data fields
